Γamma Chapter History
The Gamma Chapter of Alpha Nu Omega, Incorporated was chartered at Coppin State University in Baltimore, MD, in the Spring of 1992 by six sisters: Monifah Jackson, Tushia Sawyer, Dana Peals, Ruby Townes, Antoinette Singleton and Amy Ayani.

In efforts to revitalize the chapter three members of Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. met and decided to be proactive about re-establishing the Gamma Chapter, those persons were Eagle Brother William I. Hart III, Dove Sister Olney May Edmonson and Dove Sister LuzCelenia Arce. Over the course of one week, with the support of other Alpha Nu Omega family, those members, held several events to help garner interest to host an Orientation Process in the Fall of 2006. As a result, there were three young women that were chosen to partake in the orientation process: Jacqueline Barlow, Kendra Jordan and KiaMonique Martin.

The Orientation Process was postponed until the Spring of 2007. and the decision was made to create a joint Orientation Process with Alpha Chapter at Morgan State University and their 7 prospectives. Dove Sister LuzCelenia Arce presided as the Orientation Leader and Dove Sisters Cherece Lindsay and Deidre Campbell presided as the Assistant Orientation Leaders. On April 14, 2007, the Gamma Chapter was officially re-chartered at Coppin State University. Dove Sister Jacqueline Barlow served as the President, Dove Sister Kendra Jordan served as Vice President and Treasurer, and Dove Sister KiaMonique Martin served as Historian. Since then, the Gamma Chapter has successfully continued to host Orientation and share the light of Christ on the campus of Coppin State University. Likewise to Alpha Nu Omega, Incorporated the Gamma chapter holds to God's promise of membership growth and leadership in ministry.
